Mark Twain and Show-Me Program
Guidelines:
1.) Read a book from the appropriate list Books are listed below.) Mark Twain (Grades 4-6). Show-Me (Grades 1-3), Truman
2.) Grades 1-3, fill out a reading form from the library or your classroom teacher. Have your parents sign the sheet. (Sheet must be filled out using complete sentences!) We make allowances for first graders! Once grades 1-3 have read 6 out of the ten books by the last day in April, they will be invited to a reading party at the end of the school year. Students who read all the books from their respective program, will receive a reading certificate and an additional award at the May party.
3.) Take your reading form to the library or give it to your classroom teacher. On your scheduled library day, reading forms can be given to the library volunteer. The library volunteer will add a sticker to your chart.in the library. The reading form can be found on the library website under the More tab and printable worksheets. They can also be found in the school library or from classroom teachers.
4.) Grades 4-6, complete the google form on the first page of the library website. Once Mark Twain readers have read 4 of the books by the last day of April, they will be invited to attend a voting party in May. Students who read all the books from their respective program, will receive a reading certificate and an additional award at the May party.

Once Truman readers have read 4 of the books by the last day of April, they will be invited to a voting party in May. Students who read all the books from their respective program, will receive an additional award at the party.
With almost every book you read, you will earn small prizes such as scented bookmarks, candy, pencils, free books and more! One of the prizes is a Free Cookie at Great Harvest Bread Company-Kirkwood only. Please thank them for their support!
